Trimmin Latex Masks

Finally got around to my masks from Jordu's class. Tonight I trimmed the extra pieces of latex off of my Dragon and Orc. Still need to clean the bits of plaster off and prime them and they'll be all ready for painting. Eventually.

  1. Emilie asked: "how did you get such a facey texture on the gobliney guy?"

My response: In the leather stage, I took a few hours to painstaking in layer wrinkles and wash them out (water and a paint brush) again and again and again; then added texture using a couple of texture stamps I made with silicone putty, one from an orange and one an expired and extra wrinkly avocado; and finally finished it off by dabbing it all over with one of the yellow potters' sponges.
